Mr. Barrasso,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding Rosacea. Rosacea is a skin disease quite common in this geographic area.
Common triggers of Rosacea are exposure to the sun, wind, cold, spicy foods, alcohol, hot drinks, physical exercise and stress.
Certainly employment interviews are stressful and could trigger flushing.Dr. Comite very successfully treats/controls Rosacea with physician-grade topical medications, facial peels, BLU-U Light, photodynamic therapy and Lasers.
You asked specifically about the V-beam Laser, which is very effective in the treatment of Rosacea. The cost of V-Beam treatments begins at $150. Multiple treatments are necessary.
Some medical costs associated with treatment of Rosacea may be covered by Insurance. Laser treatments are not. Dr Comite does not have contracts with any health insurance carrier.
I strongly suggest that you call our Front Desk directly (610.374.1400) regarding a New Patient Medical Consult, at which time your skin will be thoroughly evaluated, and treatment options discussed.
We wish you well in your pursuit of employment and look forward to hearing from you.

I have rosacea (flushing & redness) How much does the v-beam treatment cost? How many sessions are usually needed? Does insurance cover any of it? I am currently job searching and it makes it difficult to interview well when you flush. thank you.
