How Much Time Between Laser Hair Removal Treatments?

A reasonable estimate is a 4-6 week interval for facial hair and a 6-8 week interval for chest & legs.
In general, one can use the regrowth of hair on the treated area as a guide. When hair begins to grow back, another treatment is needed. Hair growth occurs more rapidly in certain areas, such as the chin and upper lip, and slower on the chest and legs.

What Can I Expect After the First Treatment?

After the first treatment, an exfoliation cleanser helps expedite the removal of treated hair. After the treated hair falls out, your skin may appear completely free of any hair. Depending on the body site treated, you will slowly see regrowth of remaining hair. Your next treatment should be scheduled approximately 4-6 weeks from then.

Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?

Laser Hair Removal treatment is a permanent reduction of hair. In certain locations, such as the armpits and bikini area, Laser Hair Removal may cause permanent hair loss. Other sites, such as the face, will usually require maintenance treatments.
